This was a referral from some friends in the islands, We were surprised that the pods surveyed out decent not good and was happy for that.

A referral from Ocean Reef, she was kept in perfect shape and sold within 3 weeks of arriving to Fort Lauderdale, which we arranged dockage and maintenance.

This sale may be a record time, We placed her on the market on Saturday at 3:00 PM, Sunday morning I get a call at 8:00 AM, we had a deal that afternoon. After the deal and before Hurricane Sally came through, but she was spared by a good captain, which secured the lines perfectly. Picture was the next day after Sally.

“Loafers Paradise” 67 Hatteras 1993
The owner decorated her with an amazing taste that every buyer loved, a real art. It is still very hard to sell a 28-year-old boat and a real art, which we did. Team work!

The 74 Hatteras will always be an iconic boat, she has a great layout with great speeds of 27 knots. We wish Hatteras would build this boat again.

“Barbaro” A very nice 42 Sabre 2001 that a good friend owned for many years and cruised her extensively when he and his wife was not sailing. He maintained her in impeccable condition which made her sell quickly.

“Big Dreams” 38 Tiara 2004 Although the owner’s “Big Dreams” are much bigger than his Tiara, he has been a great friend for over 25 years and looking forward to keep assisting him with his “Big Dreams” on the water.

“Black Gold” 125 Westport 2017 The 125 Westport is one of the most innovative yachts built in the world in the past 10 years, with amazing efficiencies at slower speeds and capable of max speeds in excess of 25 knots.

“Somerset” is a town in England where the owner is originally from, We were fortunate enough to sell him this Westbay 58 when she was brand new in 1998 as we were Westbay Dealers at the time. The owner ran her from Fort Lauderdale to St Louis Mo where she would remain for the next 20 years until I receive phone call from the estate that the owner has passed and would like me to market it for the estate. They wanted to move her to Ft. Lauderdale to bring her to market and I mentioned to lets keep her in the present location and perhaps we would find a buyer, little did I know the buyer would be from New Zealand where she is today.

“Dreams” 112 Westport 2008 I was lucky enough to sell her new in 2008 then sell her in 2019 for the original owner. She is the nicest used Westport 112 that I have ever been associated with. She had new paint and Seakeepers installed that made her very stable while under way or while at anchor.

JOURNEY
“Journey” 72 Ocean Alexander 2016, Sold in September 2019 and ran the boat from New Jersey to South Carolina through the outer banks of Carolina with the owner and friends. We had the trip of a lifetime.

Margin Call, a 47 Grand Banks 2009, the owner preceded to make her absolutely perfect.

“My Maggie”
“My Maggie” Originally sold hull 32 to a great family from Miami who enjoyed her for nine years until recently selling her for them in December of 2019, In 2010 the clients purchased her from Ken Hoffman who previously owned the Oakland A’s and the movie “Money Ball” was written about. The family thoroughly enjoyed her for a decade which is what memories are made of. PS Maggie is the best!

In 2019 “Ragtop” 38 Hinckley 2008 Great name for a boat that is a convertible! Must be a car guy! Ha! Had a lot of fun with the owner and their friends.

“Shooters Waterfront” We have known the family for about 30 years and the owner is truly remarkable, We were fortunate enough to sell him a Westport 112 and sell it for him for what he paid for her. A great family and proud to be associated with the family.

“Traveller” The owner a great person from New Orleans and amazing boater who told me this story of how he took his boat up the Jordan River to protect his boat during hurricane “Katrina” which in my opinion was one of the most devastating storms to make landfall in the US. The owner with about another 80 boats put them in a man made hurricane hole just past I-10 and tied all the boats off to trees and anything they can get a bite on and made a web of sorts with about 20 guys who stayed on all the boats to maintain the boats during the storm. No body knew what was to come with close to sustained 160 mph winds, as they rose above the tree lines with the web of ropes in the middle of the night. On another note 14 years later after Katrina we are going to closing on Traveller and I review the closing papers and I tell my assistant that she has spelled the name of the boat wrong as I remenber it having two L’s in the name, my assistant says no it only has one, I say no it has two because I remember a picture of the transom. She pulls out a copy of the documentation and she is right, I pull out a picture of the transom and I am right, no of course my assistant is always right as it should.

“Sweet Escapes” 64 Grand Banks 2003 with a 20 foot beam and good weight she is an amazing cruiser. I recently pulled up closing statements of when I sold it to the owner and selling her in this picture and it sold for 23k less in the picture of 2018 then summer of 2016. I would say that is good residue value.

“Golden Eye” 112 Westport 2016 “Golden Eye” would be the 5th Transaction for this client over 30 years, the first being a 70 Neptunus 1992 that I sold to the client in 1994, She was a amazing boat she offer speeds of 30 knots with 1450hp 16-92’s built in Holland with a fiberglasss hull and an aluminum superstructure. A very knowledgable client who previously built a 120 foot Dennison in Broward County.

85 Pacific Mariner 2012 We were fortunate enough to sell her new to the original owner, who ran a great program and used her in Mexico (Sea of Cotez) and through the Caribbean. This owner who had the confidence in us to sell her for his family kept her in impeccable shape, which always makes the sales process easier. It was a great blessing and pleasure to be able to work for the owner.

“Endeavour” 130 Westport 2014 Bryan Long was the listing agent that succeeded to get her sold after she arrived from Seattle and cruised her extensively. The owner explained that he had to learn how own and run a yacht and was coached by a long time yacht owner.

“Feeling Free” A Louisiana owner, Listed and sold within two months. The captain did not want to take her out as it was rough which it was, but come to find out offshore there were Luaderdale Yacht Club sailors offshore sailing in 10 foot Opti sailboats.

“Top Dog” 112 Westport 2014 Sold to a Louisiana buyer, his second Westport 112 We sold to him, very Lucky to have met he and his lovely wife much less have transacted a sale with him. World Class people, and was nice enough to invite us to his birthday party.

“Jack’s Sin” 86 Nordhavn 2009 A beast of a boat, we sold to a couple from Australia who shipped her there. He enjoyed her for years with his family.

“Annica” Westport 130 Hull 1528 , January 2011 , I received an Ipad for Christmas when they first came out and showed the prospective buyer pictures for her, he just received an Ipad for Christmas as well so we were both excited to see the pictures but unfortunately we could not get him on her for another 3 months, but he bought and enjoyed her for years.

“Georgia” Westport 112 Hull 7742 This vessel was slightly used and built by a very Knowledgeable owner and his captain with many features added that are not standard, We sold “Georgia” to a great client and his wife we which we sold them a 73 Neptunus 15 years prior.

“Trix-sea” 75 Hatteras 2000 It was a great experience to sell a yacht to a friend and we had a great time driving to view her in Cape Canaveral and sea trial and survey her. She is still owned by that family that has raised their children boating.

“Sleepyhead” We sold her to this owner many years before and he wanted to donate her straight to a university, we convinced him to let us sell it and get more money then offer the funds to the university which he did and thanked us.

“New Westport 112 Hull 48”, We sold his previous boat an 86 Nordhavn and then bought the new Westport 112 which he still owns and enjoys.

“Coralbelle” is a searay located in the Bahamas which we bought on spec and brought back to the states, She was then sold and shipped to Australia
