<image:caption>Traveller
“Traveller” The owner a great person from New Orleans and amazing boater who told me this story of how he took his boat up the Jordan River to protect his boat during hurricane “Katrina” which in my opinion was one of the most devastating storms to make landfall in the US. The owner with about another 80 boats put them in a man made hurricane hole just past I-10 and tied all the boats off to trees and anything they can get a bite on and made a web of sorts with about 20 guys who stayed on all the boats to maintain the boats during the storm. No body knew what was to come with close to sustained 160 mph winds, as they rose above the tree lines with the web of ropes in the middle of the night.

On another note 14 years later after Katrina we are going to closing on Traveller and I review the closing papers and I tell my assistant that she has spelled the name of the boat wrong as I remenber it having two L’s in the name, my assistant says no it only has one, I say no it has two because I remember a picture of the transom. She pulls out a copy of the documentation and she is right, I pull out a picture of the transom and I am right, no of course my assistant is always right as it should.

I recently pulled up closing statements of when I sold it to the owner and selling her in this picture and it sold for 23k less in the picture of 2018 then summer of 2016. I would say that is good residue value.
